Choosing between Rental Car Companies

If you are looking for an Orlando or Fort Lauderdale car rental, you have some comparison shopping ahead of you. There are many different rental car Orlando and Fort Lauderdale companies, so comparison shopping is your best bet for getting a good deal… and a good service.
Here are a few things to ask about when comparing Fort Lauderdale and Orlando rental cars:
- Base rate - This is the basic, per-day rate you are quoted.
- Mileage - Do you get charged more for excess mileage? If so, how much?
- Fees - There are usually some sneaky fees tacked on in addition to the per-day rate you are quoted. Be sure to find out how much these fees amount to before deciding which car rental place is cheaper.
- Type of car - Be sure you’re not comparing apples and oranges. If you are looking at a mid-size car at one car rental place, make sure you’re not getting quoted for a compact car at a different car rental place.
- Fuel costs - Find out how much you’ll be charged if you don’t return the car with a full tank.
Like anything else, renting a car requires some comparison shopping. Take the time to do this and be sure you’re not getting screwed!
