Where to Find Auto Repair Coupons

Auto repair coupons are desirable because they can help you save money on maintenance and repairs on your car that you would need to pay to have done anyway.  Auto repair shops put out these coupons to help them reach more potential customers, but they also benefit you by helping you get work done on your car at cheaper prices that it would cost otherwise.

But where can you find auto repair coupons?  Here are some suggestions to help you find the coupons you need to save money on foreign and domestic automotive repair.

  • Local newspapers – Check the city and neighborhood papers in your area.  Local auto repair shops often advertise in these publications: Because may people receive and read local papers, advertising in local newspapers means the shop can reach a percentage of their target market.  To make sure that they hook readers, they often include coupons for maintenance and repairs that car owners frequently have done, such as tune ups, oil changes, alignment, brake repairs, and tires.
  • Local magazines – Many cities and states have an assortment of local magazines.  Like with the local papers, auto repair shops can reach car owners in the area, and often provide coupons as incentives to get them in the door.
  • Coupon mailings – Most of us get coupon packets in the mail every week, usually from grocery stores and other local businesses.  These mailings often include coupons from one or more local auto repair shops, so be sure to check these mailings and keep the coupons!
  • Online coupon websites – There are a number of online coupon websites that allow you to search for and print coupons for businesses in your neighborhood.  Check these sites often, as their content changes frequently.
  • The auto repair shop’s newsletter or website – If you have a favorite auto repair shop in your neighborhood, ask to be put on their mailing list so that you’ll receive their newsletter and any other mailings.  They may offer email notifications as an alternative.  Also, you can check their website directly — often local repair shops put coupons (or links to their coupons on other sites) on their websites.

Using auto repair coupons can save you a lot of money on stuff you would have to do on your car anyway, so take advantage of the opportunity to save money.  Auto repair coupons are easy to find if you know where to look!
