With the better economy over the past few years in our town, we have found ourselves with a surplus of cash in the business.  We usually make sure to save some money for a rainy day, but even our savings are full, so we have more money to invest.  Instead of wasting this opportunity, we have decided to increase our store offerings and offer our customers some western decorating merchandise.

We decided to go this route after running a survey past our patrons to see what they would like in our store.  It seemed like the best thing to do because once we knew what a typical customer would like to buy, all we would have to do is offer it to them.  Basically, it is as simple as it gets for a business blueprint, and we like to keep it simple around here anyway.

So, we have ordered some western gifts to start things off, and provided they go well, we are going to expand the store by building on an extension to accommodate the new product lines that we will be carrying.  The store is cramped anyway, and it would be great to have the room both to merchandise the products we want to carry, and have more storage in the back.

I just hope that the expansion will go ahead as we want it to – I guess time will tell.
