Rewards Programs Gives Employees Choices

Let’s face it. Nowadays, it takes more than a kind word or sentiment of approval to keep your hard-working employees truly happy and inspired. It takes recognition and perhaps even concrete incentives to really boost motivation. This is where a quality employee recognition program proves necessary.

It is very important to employee morale to: remember staff member birthdays, anniversaries and/or special occasions; offer rewards and nominations when certain individuals go above and beyond; and acknowledge significant milestones of service. However, it is difficult to personally grant gifts to employees, especially when you have a demanding business to run. So, allow an online rewards program to conduct all of the work for you.

With online reward programs, the employee can be delivered an e-certificate by email or online. Then, he or she can choose what kind of gift he or she wants by “flipping” through a virtual catalog of items without price tags. And best of all, the recipient can choose a great gift in privacy and comfort, and then have it mailed to his or her home.

If you award your employees accordingly, you are sure to have them thank you in spades. And that means better business for you.

I think this is a great idea! I wish my job did something like this for us instead of just giving people a birthday cake.

Recognizing employee performance with valuable rewards is a much better idea than just giving them a certificate or something that’s worthless outside of work.

Having employee incentives sent out via e-mail is a big time-saver for my HR department. It also saves money on postage. Employee incentive programs really work.

I love the idea of an incentive program like the one described above. It’s a great way to recognize employee achievement without spending a lot of precious time doing it.
