The game of golf is not only a wonderful sport, it can also be a fantastic career for the right person. Professional golf careers include everything from being a golf pro to playing professionally to win big purses. Very few golfers can claim that  they are professionals because the competition to play for money is fierce. There are a lot of people who aspire to a career in some aspect of golf, and fortunately, there are many jobs related to golf and golf course jobs. There are the jobs that are associated with the physical aspects of a golf course, like keeping the turf in good shape or the trees and flowers properly fed and cared for, and then there are the jobs inside the clubhouse related to the members and guests.

If you enjoy the golf course environment, you certainly are not limited to golf itself. There is usually at least an informal grill and bar where people can wind down after a game, and some golf course clubhouses have elegant restaurants associated with them. Or you could enjoy recruiting members if it’s a private club. As a marketing person in a golf course, you will take people around and show them the clubhouse, show the golf course off, and talk to them about the membership fees and application requirements. Golf course jobs are plenty and diverse, and working at a golf club can be a very rewarding place to spend your career.
