One of the most common places for people to meet their spouses is in their college classes. During this time, everyone’s interested in dating. People tend to meet others who have common interests since they meet them in classes that they take because the classes interest them. The couples who last past college graduation tend to have a solid relationship over time.

There are some types of schools that are better than others for meeting a mate. The best schools are those at which all of the students are truly passionate about what they do. Culinary school is an example of this. People don’t attend culinary arts institutes just because they feel like they need a degree. They attend these schools because they’re passionate about cooking. That’s a great passion for a couple to share.

Other schools are much less conducive to meeting a mate. The worst schools are those that require you to work constantly or which offer programs that are heavily biased towards one gender or another. Electrical engineering is an example of a degree which requires constant work, leaving little room for free time. It’s also heavily populated with male students which decreases the chance of making a match in those classes. You shouldn’t choose a school based on the potential to meet a mate but it’s something to be aware of in the back of your mind as you make your selection.
