Trading the Small For the Large

I was not a big fan of school and learning. In fact, I could honestly say that I really don’t like wasting my time working on things like expanding my knowledge or improving my abilities through the use of some sort of training from someone else. I like teaching myself things, that way I can go into the world and claim that I was the one that taught myself, it wasn’t someone else burning it into my brain.
But I still took advantage of an Emini Futures training course, because I realized that there is a difference between telling someone that the reason I am bad at baseball is because no one taught me to swing, and telling someone that the reason I lost my entire life savings is because I tried to start e-mini futures trading without any training whatsoever.
I take a lot of pride in what I do, but I wasn’t about to lose all of my money in futures trading just because I did not want to learn from people that knew what they were doing. If I did that, I’d deserve all that befell on me, and people would be right to ridicule me for my bad decisions.
