I love online shopping.  I think it’s the best thing since sliced bread.  And, like cell phones, I simply don’t know how we used to survive without it.  Not to have to drag my toddler into stores is truly a blessing.

I especially love the sites that manage to save your cart for a few moments in the event you get knocked offline.  Few do-maybe it’s just the Asp.net shopping cart that does it?-but I have experienced that, and I encourage all online businesses to shoot for that capability.  I really don’t think I was dreaming, but I’m not referring to the sites where you set up an account and save your cart; I mean the ones where you’re half way through shopping and you suddenly get shut down, but when you come back, voila!  Maybe they cookie you to be able to do that, but I don’t care.

No matter what, I still love it.  It saves TONS of time, sometimes money, you can browse endlessly when normal stores are closed, and I don’t have to take my screaming toddler anywhere!  There’s still a store or two that have not set up an online store-like my usual grocers, though I know there are a few out there not in my area-and I just want to scream that I actually have to walk into a store!
