A home security surveillance system is more than just a way to keep you and your family safe — it is also an investment in your home.
Homebuyers often like to see that home security cameras have already been installed, as it saves them from having to do it. Everyone these days is worried about security, weather reasonably or not. Things like security lighting, alarms on all the doors and windows, and CCTV cameras are all hot items right now.
For instance, one family I used to work for had sensors threaded through the screens on all of their windows — if someone ever cuts the screens to break in, the silent alarm will go off, and the cops will arrive before the burglar even leaves.
The same family had a system of wireless hidden cameras that transmitted signals to the TV. You could check all the different cameras just by flipping the channel. I’m sure somewhere it was probably being recorded, too.
Whether or not you are considering selling your home in the near future, adding a top-notch security system not only protects your family now, it also adds value and a major selling point to your home later on, if you ever do decide to sell!

The small company I work for recently started a web site. It’s all part of our goal to grow the business, and internet marketing is a must in today’s market. I’m certainly not an expert when it comes to web site development. Obviously I could not create something from scratch, so I shopped around and found a web hosting service.
They did a wonderful job of creating a professional looking web site. They gave me various options to choose from, and all I had to do was click to choose the things I wanted on the various web pages. I have to say that I am proud of just how well it turned out.
So after patting myself on the back, I tried to find our web site on Yahoo. Well let’s just say that I didn’t find it very easily. I really had to narrow down the search, and even then I was still on the fifth page. I had no idea how to get our site up onto the first page, and had to admit to the owner that I had gotten into this a little over my head.
Her suggestion was to go back to Yahoo and search for how to get our site to the first page. So I did the search and found that it takes more than just having good high quality content and a good looking web site. Our web site didn’t have something that kept getting referred to everywhere I looked: website links. I needed to find a way to get higher search engine rankings and the only way to do that was to find some professional link builders.
So we decided it was in our best interest to use the services of a link building company to take care of our link popularity deficiency. And it worked; right now when I search for our web site, we are on page one on both Yahoo and Google!

Are you thinking about staying at a New England B&B? I highly recommend the experience, but you need to know what to look for. Here are some ideas.
- Small size. You definitely want the experience of a small bed and breakfast. For instance, there are plenty of Connecticut inns, but what you really want is someplace that will be small enough that you don’t feel like you’re sharing your vacation with a bunch of strangers.
- Quiet, quaint atmosphere. A good B&B is decorated so that it feels like a quiet little getaway.
- Lots of great sights to see. For instance, a Maine bed and breakfast is great because of the gorgeous scenery, while someplace more historical (such as Boston) is good for the history lover.
- Great food. Half the point of a B&B is to get a great breakfast. The meal should be cooked with culinary flare, and a good small B&B can take special requests or pay close attention to allergies.
- Plenty of ways to relax. Whether you are eating a delicious breakfast, enjoying the local attractions, or soaking in a clawfoot tub, you want to be able to fully enjoy the opportunity to relax!
Remember, the goal of staying at a bed and breakfast is to enjoy yourself and relax in ways that you couldn’t at a regular hotel, so make sure everything about your chosen destination will support that goal!

One of the largest problems facing parents and students surrounding winter break is that often, students have a longer break than do their parents. This isn’t so much an issue once children are in high school and college, but what about younger children who require someone to watch them? Hiring a babysitter can get pricey, and finding activities to fill the days during the winter break can get difficult. Winter Camps are a good way for parents to be sure their children are safe and having fun at the same time. Campers will learn, in-depth, about the mechanics of hitting and throwing. Winter Camps are great also to get ready for the upcoming baseball season. Winter Camps can boost your business when you incorporate sign ups into your franchise opportunity. How does this work? You could offer incentives to sign up. Even through offering information for Winter Camps, as they relate to your particularly baseball franchise opportunity, you’ll draw interested students and parents to the benefits of attending both the Winter Camp and your youth baseball franchise. The important connection to stress is the benefit of attending camp sessions with the company with which your franchise is associated. This way, students are gaining the same high-caliber instruction.

We woke up with head-splitting hangovers from our fishing adventure and night camping, quickly going through all of our water reserves. We would have to go back to see Jeb at the local store for more water, and since we were only planning on a half-day of fishing, we agreed that it’d probably be best to just pack in the inaugural “Georgia Fly Fishing Trip” early and head back to the rat race.
Jeb had other ideas.
He asked, “You fellas leaving already? I was going to join ya’ll out on the lake today. Been itching to do some fishing but isn’t nobody round here these days”. Dave apologized and said yes, we had a rough night and it was time to head home. Jeb replied that he was disappointed but understood how rough fishing could be; you could hear the sarcasm in his voice. But then he smiled and said he had a great little boat for fishing, and if we want to tag along, he’ll do all the work.
Out back, Jeb had a pretty serious schooner, probably even sea ready. He prodded us on board to have a look, and it was something else. He had padded lounge chairs, a cooler full of god only knows how many beers, a charcoal grill just begging to be lit and, to top it all off, another cooler full of steaks, burgers and catfish. Did we really have a choice?
We’d already thrown common sense to the wind-or fire I guess-with our Georgia fly fishing guides. Maybe a day with Jeb was just what we needed to make this undeniably the best bass fishing trip ever, as they’d promised us at the start.
We looked at each other and shrugged.
Jeb shouted, “Ha-ha. Good to have you aboard, boys!”
