A home security surveillance system is more than just a way to keep you and your family safe — it is also an investment in your home.
Homebuyers often like to see that home security cameras have already been installed, as it saves them from having to do it. Everyone these days is worried about security, weather reasonably or not. Things like security lighting, alarms on all the doors and windows, and CCTV cameras are all hot items right now.
For instance, one family I used to work for had sensors threaded through the screens on all of their windows — if someone ever cuts the screens to break in, the silent alarm will go off, and the cops will arrive before the burglar even leaves.
The same family had a system of wireless hidden cameras that transmitted signals to the TV. You could check all the different cameras just by flipping the channel. I’m sure somewhere it was probably being recorded, too.
Whether or not you are considering selling your home in the near future, adding a top-notch security system not only protects your family now, it also adds value and a major selling point to your home later on, if you ever do decide to sell!
