The patio door that was original to the house was being changed into a French door.  I like having the French door because it had two doors versus just the one patio door.  It was pretty cool how the French doors brightened up the whole area.  It is not as if there was any more light being let in then with my patio door.  It really helped to update the whole look of the place.  Subtle changes like this make a difference when you are redecorating your home. 

I wanted to add French doors to my office inside too.  I like the look of a French door because it can be beautiful and nice and add a sense of class to the whole office.  I would of course have to put blinds on the door so that I could have even more privacy within my own office.  That way if I had the blinds down, my kids would know that now was not the time to bother mommy because she is working.  Having a visual cue such as this will help me out in getting most of my work done.  It is little things this that make me a more productive employee.
