Favorite Cat Toys from the Experts

Kitty castleTo start out, what my cats want they generally get.  Yes, I am one of Those People who pamper my pets to no end.  I figure cats aren’t very expensive or difficult pets to own, so I might as well reward them by spoiling them a little.

My cats are very snobby when it comes to their cat toys.  If your present doesn’t please them, they won’t play with it — period.  They both like ball cat toys, but my male cat is deaf so there’s no need to bother with bells or rattles or other noisemakers in the balls — it only makes the dogs want to steal the balls from them, anyway.

As far as store-bought toys, my cats like mouse cat toys the best — but only the fluffy rabbit fur ones.  (See, I told you they were picky!)  The rest of the time — well, it’s always amusing to me to see what they can turn into cat toys.  One of my cats loves to play with my hair ties in our big, rounded claw foot tub.  The other cat, on the other hand, prefers to play with the wand or string end — the part you’re supposed to hold — and will outright ignore the mouse or feather or whatever on the other end!

Like I said, my cats are a little spoiled — I know what they like, and I make sure to get it for them.  Crazy cat lady am I!
