Do you have friends who recently moved into a new place?  Are you invited to a housewarming party?  If so, you will need to find an appropriate housewarming gift for your friends.  Here are a few housewarming gift ideas.

1. Scented candles.  Everyone loves getting scented candles to use in a house.  Scented jar candles are especially handy, because they don’t require the person to have a candle holder, and generally hold their fragrance better than candles that are always exposed to open air.  Aromatherapy candles are scented candles whose fragrance has a purpose — to calm and sooth, destress, invigorate, or refresh.
2. House plants.  A pretty potted plant is always welcome — not to mention, having more plants around the house is actually healthier, as plants manufacture oxygen.  Flowering plants are usually the most welcome, but some kind of ivy or climbing plant is also nice.  If you’re a really good friend, you’ll also be sure to get a pretty pot and transfer the plant before you give your friend the housewarming gift.
3. Pretty linens.  Thing like tablecloths, placemats and napkins, and throw blankets are also often very appreciated housewarming gifts.  These are the kinds of things that most people always have a use for.
4. Wine glasses or shot glasses.  A nice set of wine glasses or shot glasses is also often a great housewarming gift.  You can even use them at the housewarming party!
5. Something your friends need.  Necessity shouldn’t be ignored.  If you know there is something your friends need, don’t be afraid to get it for them!  They’re sure to appreciate the assistance!
