Office Chair Buying Decisions
By buffY on Feb 14, 2008 in Shopping
I have had the same old office chair forever. I don’t particularly like this chair but I find that trying to make a decision about buying a new one is a difficult task. There are so many choices to make before you find the chair that’s right for you.
As I’ve been doing my research into office chairs, these are the things I’ve had trouble deciding:
- Size. I know that I want a chair that can be raised or lowered in order to fit the different working levels on my office desk. However, I don’t know if I want a chair that’s very narrow or one that’s roomy.
- Ergonomics. I think that I might want an ergonomic design since I’m in this chair all day but I’m not sure if it’s really worth the extra money that these chairs cost.
- Aesthetics. I’d like to find an office chair that matches the rest of my business furniture as well as the general decor of my office. However, I’m not really sure what color and shape are best.
- Material. I’d like to find an eco-friendly material for my office chair but it seems that the best chairs out there are all leather.
Eventually I’m sure that I’ll make a decision and get a new office chair but it sure can be a difficult process!
