An Outdoor Kitchen for Newlyweds?
By Buff on Apr 29, 2009 in Society
I have some friends that are about to get married, and they’ve been living together forever. And they also have years of stuff they’ve accumulated. This “stuff” is nice, it’s contemporary and it’s fashionable, so there’s no need to go out and buy them both towels or sheets or a toaster, etc. for their wedding gift.
So what do you get a couple who already has everything? They say not to get them anything, so it’s not like I can contribute to a trip. They have good jobs and money, so the money tree thing is out. So I was thinking-what if I got them Cal Flame outdoor kitchens appliances? They already have a Fire Magic bbq island, and I was thinking they could really expand the area into one of those outdoor living areas.
But do you think it’s too forward of me to assume that they could develop that area? The problem with outdoor appliances is that there’s really nothing else you can do with that stuff if you don’t make an outdoor kitchen, except to sell it. I don’t want my gift to be a burden on them. Does anyone out there have an opinion on this?
