What a day!  I will have to write today down as one of the best days of my life.  I decided that I was going to try parasailing today for the first time in my life, and it was a blast!

In fact, I had no idea that we were going to be able to make it out to the lake today since the stern drive on our boat has been broken for sometime.  On a whim, I decided that I would go down to the local Mercruiser parts dealer and see if they had what I needed, and as luck would have it, they did.

So, returning home I rushed to fix the boat so that we could make it out to the lake.  Today was the first nice day that we have had in weeks and I didn’t want to waste it.  Lucky for me, after just an hour, I had everything fixed and we rushed out to the lake.

That is where I had the opportunity to try parasailing for the first time, and what a rush it was!  There is nothing quite like being airborne, free like a bird and seeing everyone below you.

It was definitely a memorable experience that I will have to try again – maybe as soon as next weekend!
