Well, not really, but I can’t stand doing these stupid DVDs any more.  It’s all Kristin’s fault.  Last year I decided to do a nice thing by giving her all the family photos I have in digital copy on a CD, and she decided to show it to everyone in the entire family.  They each wanted a copy, which was easy enough, though the cost of the CD labeler sheets got a little prohibitive. 

Then I started getting the tapes.  Kristin apparently engineered this big plan to have every member of the family send me their VHS videos so that I could digitally transfer them onto DVDs for the whole family.  You can make it their Christmas present, she said.  She’s the devil, I swear. 

Not only has this been annoying (do you have any idea the kind of editing it took to do this?) but it’s been expensive too.  It didn’t fit on to one DVD; try seven.  That means seven DVDs per family member.  The DVDs are like a buck a piece (I have a big family), and I had to buy DVD printers and DVD printing sheets.  I am not Donald Trump.  I better be getting some good presents this year.
